IT Admin Co-op

Carbon Engineering is seeking a Co-op student to develop IT support skills in a dynamic environment. The IT Admin Co-op will assist in providing infrastructure support services to users, including IT work related to onboarding new employees, responding to user requests and incidents, and general hardware and system support.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a co-op program through a recognized post-secondary institution in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering
• Experience with fundamental concepts of IT environments
• Good problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Ability to balance competing or conflicting goals of various departments and stakeholders
• A personal focus on service quality
• Familiarity with security controls
