Job Description
The job description is for a Contract Field Service Technician position at Carbon Robotics, a company that develops innovative solutions for agricultural industry. The role involves inspecting, repairing, and refurbishing laser weeding modules, maintaining inventory, and providing field support. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, organized, and proactive, with a willingness to travel up to 50%.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
- Ability to follow technical procedures and maintain accurate documentation
- Hands-on problem-solving mindset
- Organized and disciplined with record keeping
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Experience servicing electromechanical systems or agricultural equipment (preferred)
- Experience with robotics, sensors, or automated equipment (preferred)
- Field service or equipment maintenance experience (preferred)
- Basic understanding of troubleshooting electronics or mechanical assemblies (preferred)
