Software Engineer

Software Engineer responsible for supporting Medical Manufacturing Outlier Applications and working with global team, EIT Shared Services Teams, and medical business resources. Leads creation, review, and updating of Resiliency Plans and provides technical leadership. Demonstrates problem-solving ability and collaborates with software vendor partners.

Requirements

• Work with and provide technical leadership as part of our global team.
• Build and manage relationships with EIT Shared Services Teams, Enterprise Architecture, Risk & Security, Regional Client Services partners at manufacturing sites, and medical business resources.
• Responsible for assigned Medical manufacturing locations and all Outlier applications at that site.
• Lead the creation, review, and updating of Resiliency Plans (HA and DR) for assigned applications.
• Provide input on strategic planning/execution and introduction of new applications at sites.
• Understand, plan, and support for application retirement at assigned sites.
• Demonstrate general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies.
• Demonstrate problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.
• Collaborate with software vendor partners as a technical SME/liaison, understanding application architecture, supported platforms, and future direction.
