Sr Engineer, IT Quality Control - Performance Testing

About Cardinal Health: a distributor of pharmaceuticals, a global manufacturer and distributor of medical and laboratory products, and a provider of performance and data solutions for healthcare facilities. The company has an Innovation and Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bangalore. The Sr Engineer, IT Quality Control - Performance Testing role is part of the Quality Control team that analyzes and inspects Information Technology products and processes for compliance to internal and external specifications and standards. The team collaborates with IT Project Management, Business Integration, and Application Development & Maintenance teams during implementation and integration projects.

Requirements

• 10+ years as Performance tester
• BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field. Advance Degree preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a software-related discipline
• Experience in designing Performance Test suites and Test Automation Frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience with C, Java, or JavaScript for protocol-based and browser-based scripting.
• Expert proficiency in LoadRunner Professional/Enterprise and BlazeMeter
• Ability to perform development of test automation by designing and writing automated test scripts based on defined test cases, including the definition of test data for consumption by scripts during test execution.
• Strong experience of working with different platforms, Web applications and API (Android, iOS experience is a plus).
• Analyzing Test Results, Defect Reporting & Tracking on regular basis.
• Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy and Risk Assessment.
