Technical Lead, Application Development and Maintenance

What Application Development & Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and the application of these systems into operational processes
• Strong project management and technical leadership experience with WMS systems
• Excellent leadership, project management, analytical, communications and collaboration skills
• Experience in resolving WMS application and integration issues, including troubleshooting production incidents, performing root cause analysis, and partnering with operations, vendors, and support teams to restore service and prevent recurrence
• Hands-on experience with WMS in warehouse and distribution operations environments, supporting operational workflows, issue resolution, and system alignment with day-to-day DC activities
• Development of policies, procedures and providing training/ support to end users
• Team player, with excellent communication skills, customer service, and client management experience a must
• Drive and ability to learn new technologies & platforms
