Sonographer

Join Cardiovascular Institute of the South as a Cardiovascular Sonographer to perform routine and advanced ultrasound duties in an invasive, non-invasive, and interventional cardiovascular setting.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound program, X-ray program with post-ultrasound training, cardiopulmonary program with post-ultrasound training, or a bachelor's degree with post-ultrasound training
• ARDMS or CCI registry in both Vascular and Cardiac Ultrasound (eligibility may be considered)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Strong understanding of cross-sectional and sagittal anatomy, as well as normal and abnormal flow characteristics
• Willingness to travel to and assist at various CIS clinics as needed
• Commitment to excellence in patient care, safety, and diagnostic accuracy
