Job Description
Careem is seeking an AI Director of Data Science (ML) to lead their Machine Learning and Data Science organization, serving as a key driver of applied AI innovation across the Everything App. This role involves strategic leadership, team building, technical oversight, and product impact, aiming to elevate Careem's competitive advantages through AI-powered solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Data Science, ML, or Applied AI
- 5+ years leading large, high-performing technical teams
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
- Proven record of building and scaling ML systems in production
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex ML concepts into strategic business impact
