Job Description
Careem is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join their backend team and build scalable and robust applications for their Everything App. They are a rapidly growing company aiming to simplify and improve the lives of people and talent in the Middle East, serving over 2.5 million customers in over 70 cities across 10 countries.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Working experience with at least one modern object-oriented programming language (Java, C#, C++, Golang, Kotlin)
- Working knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms)
- Experience operating online systems reliably
- Experience with relational and non-relational database systems
