Job Description
Careem is building an 'Everything App' for the Middle East, simplifying daily life for users and creating opportunities for millions of Captains. The NextGen Programme aims to grow engineers by teaching clean code, SOLID principles, and designing reliable systems. This Software Engineer II - Backend role involves maintaining services, scaling distributed systems, and improving engineering practices, using Java 8, Spring Boot, Micro-Service Architecture, SQL/no-SQL DBs, and AWS.
Requirements
- 2-4 Years of Experience required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other related technical fields.
- Understanding of Object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Ability to solve complex problems.
- Ability to write clean and maintainable code.
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
