Job Description
We are hiring an Oracle database administrator for our premier client in Columbus, Ohio. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle RAC Database Administration, installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle RAC DBs, and strong hands-on experience with Oracle 19c container and pluggable databases.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience as an Oracle database administrator
- 5 years of experience as an Oracle database administrator using AIX (version 7.x or higher)
- 3 years of experience setting up/building and configuring Oracle RAC
- 2 years of experience using the full functionality of RMAN backup utility
- 1 year of experience using Active Data Guard (ADG) and data guard broker
- 4 years of experience in database performance tuning and application SQL tuning
- 4 years of experience using Oracle ASM
- 3 years of experience performing database upgrade/patches
- 2 years of experience implementing ExaCC/OCI varoious features
- 1 year of experience in writing PL/SQL code
- Experience with snapshot cloning technology using Oracle ACFS
- Experience with Transparent sensitive data protection (TSDP) using Data redaction
