Job Description
V-Soft Consulting is hiring a Solutions/Cloud Architect 4 for our premier client in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in cloud platforms, architectural modeling, and security best practices, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Requirements
- Relevant certifications such as AWS/Azure Architect, or equivalent
- Proficiency in architectural modeling, data management concepts, and security best practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience collaborating with vendors, system integrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Considerable experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or equivalent)
- Highly desired: Experience designing or supporting large scale healthcare or government IT systems, preferably Medicaid or MES modules
- Strong understanding of MITA framework and federal interoperability requirements
- Considerable knowledge of emerging and traditional technologies such as Node.js, Java, Angular, React, Python, REST, JSON, XML, X12, FHIR, HTML5
- Considerable knowledge of databases, ETL tools, relational databases, SharePoint, X12, and legacy programming
- Knowledge of enterprise integration, service-oriented architecture, APIs, cloud computing, ETL and modular system design
- Prior work with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) or Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES)
- Nice to have: Experience in state government, public sector consulting, or large enterprise architecture roles
