Securities Surveillance Analyst / Associate

K-Star Asset Management LLC is seeking a Securities Surveillance Analyst / Associate to join the CMBS Surveillance team. The role involves monitoring asset and portfolio performance, tracking property-level performance trends, and identifying emerging credit risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a Business, Finance, or Real Estate-related course of study
• 1–5 years of relevant experience in CMBS surveillance, commercial real estate credit, structured finance, banking, or investment management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with financial and portfolio datasets
• Familiarity with Trepp, Intex, Bloomberg, or similar CMBS analytics platforms
