Job Description
Reporting directly to the Director of Care, the Health Care Aide (HCA) provides on-going client care, observes and reports on client status, and delivers prescribed medications accurately.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an Alberta Government recognized Health Care Aide program
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Physical ability to manage frequent lifting, transferring and repositioning of clients
- Active and current registration in the Alberta HCA Directory
- Related experience in a health care facility is an asset
