Manager, Software Development Engineering

As the founding Engineering Manager for CarGurus' new Dublin office, you will play a pivotal role in building and leading a team of talented full stack engineers focused on dealer-facing products and features for our international markets.

Requirements

• Proven experience of 2+ years in managing and growing teams of full stack engineers focused on building and shipping products at scale.
• Minimum of 5 years of extensive hands-on software design and development experience across the full stack including Java, React and TypeScript (or similar languages).
• Experience building and scaling teams from the ground up, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding engineers.
• A track record of working on nimble teams that iterate quickly, delivering meaningful customer outcomes rather than just outputs.
• Experience thriving in cross-functional environments where you have demonstrated rigorous thinking and effective decision-making.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
