Job Description
Modeling and Simulation Test Engineer 2, responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate modeling & simulation software across performance, functionality, and integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with 2+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 0–2 years of experience
- Active DoD Secret clearance required to start
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
- Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports
- Experience verifying and validating system/software requirements with traceability
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Understanding of software development practices and Linux environments
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
