Job Description
Carnegie Mellon University is seeking a lab technician to work with the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Sciences (PGSS) program, ensuring materials are prepared and safely cleaned up for labs and team projects. The technician will work with students, faculty, and Chemistry Teaching Lab staff to provide a safe and effective learning environment.
Requirements
- Strong academic records
- Strong communication skills – both oral and written
- Completed their sophomore, junior, or senior in an undergraduate chemistry program
- Demonstrable safety records with regards to chemical safety and chemistry research
