Electrician I or II - Facilities Management & Campus Services (FMCS)

Carnegie Mellon University is seeking an Electrician I or II to join their team in Pittsburgh, PA. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrically driven equipment, components, and general wiring. The position requires flexibility in working various shifts, overtime, and call-out work. Adaptability, excellence, and passion are vital qualities for this role.

Requirements

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrically driven equipment, components, and general wiring
• Install, maintain, and test switches, panels, and control devices
• Trouble shoot and maintain variable frequency drives
• Ability to maintain and troubleshoot issues with electrical panels, ATS and generators
• Ability to repair, replace and install LED lighting systems
• Operates on and off-road utility vehicles and light trucks
• Inspect and supervise system equipment operation
