This position will require flexibility in working various shifts, overtime, and call-out work, with pay increases every 6 months based on performance per apprentice pay scale for on-the-job training (OJT). The role involves adjusting and repairing pneumatic, electric, and electronic control HVAC components, monitoring and controlling HVAC equipment via computer interfaces, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA CFC Universal certification
- Graduation from HVAC trade school
- Two years of full-time experience in an institutional setting
- One year apprentice level experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC and/or structural trades
- Additional experience in HVAC system and DDC installations
- Valid PA Driver's License
- Motor Vehicle Records (conducted annually)
- Fitness for duty assessment and pre-employment medical exam
- Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol Screen
- PA Child Protection Clearances (Act 153)
- Successful Background Check
