Postdoctoral Research Associate - College of Engineering - Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University is searching for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on an interdisciplinary project involving designing microfabricated biomedical sensors and readout circuitry for recording electrophysiology and electrochemical signals from biological samples.

Requirements

• PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Nano/microfabrication experience
• Prior experience with designing and testing in vitro or implantable sensors
• Prior experience with printed circuit board prototyping
• Basic data analysis using MATLAB or Python
• Experience with microcontrollers
• Problem solving skills and out of the box thinking
