Senior Manager, Technical Projects

Senior Manager, Technical Projects for Princess is responsible for managing fleet technical safety, environmental and energy saving projects. The role requires collaboration with various teams, contractors, and shipyards to ensure project completion within approved financial plans and timescales. The successful candidate will contribute to sustainability and safety goals, and support compliance and operational efficiency across the business.

Requirements

• Responsible for supporting the development of projects and managing them in accordance with company policies, procedures, maritime legislation, flag and classification requirements
• Monitors the progress of projects and the control action plans while providing regular updates to senior management
• Supports the implementation and completion of projects by collaborating with suppliers, contractors, shipyards and various departments both shoreside and shipboard
• Submits all required regulatory documents and plans to appropriate Classification Society for review and plan approval
• Makes recommendations to resolve issues as directed or relates to the project and ensures there is collaboration amongst shipboard teams, Classification Societies, shipyards, and suppliers
• Supports projects with ship visits and dry-dock attendance as dictated by project needs
• Collaborates with other Corporate brands to discuss and evaluate new technology and project initiatives to create efficiencies and identify cost saving opportunities
• Collaborates with shipboard management, shipyards, contractors and classification representatives to ensure a fully integrated and safe project solution
