Machinist Trainee

Carpenter Technology Corporation is a leading producer of specialty alloys and is seeking a Machinist Trainee to develop skills and knowledge in the Machinist Field. The successful candidate will machine mechanical components, repair and rebuild cylinders, and work in a variety of environmental conditions.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of an associate degree in a machining discipline
• A GPA of 2.5 or higher is required
• The hiring process includes passing a knowledge-based test
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to operate vehicles, work from heights, and work in various environmental conditions
• Must be willing to upgrade knowledge and skills as new technology and methods are introduced
