Technician II - Met Lab

The Technician II – Met Lab prepares samples for analysis and examination and performs moderately complex metallurgical services, including mechanical and metallographic testing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• One or more years of relevant experience
• Working knowledge of metallurgical principles, standards, methods, and practices
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Problem-solving skills using standard procedures and processes
• Ability to perform diversified and moderately complex work
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a production-oriented environment
• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision
• Team-oriented mindset, collaborating within the department to achieve goals
