As an Automation Engineer, you will support manufacturing operations by ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of automated systems. You will be involved in the implementation of new equipment and processes, working closely with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to deliver high-quality, efficient, and innovative manufacturing solutions.
Requirements
- Programming, updating, and supporting PLCs and HMIs to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Participating in the implementation of new equipment and processes, including validation, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting automation, controls, and robotics issues to minimize downtime
- Coordinating with external suppliers to ensure equipment meets technical and operational requirements
- Supporting production during equipment startup and ensuring smooth handover to operations
- Documenting programs, schematics, technical manuals, and engineering changes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance, and engineering)
- Supporting Industry 4.0 and connectivity initiatives within the plant
