Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Controls Engineer to design advanced building automation systems for individual customers. The successful candidate will work in a team, have excellent problem-solving skills, and have experience in HVAC industry hardware design.
Requirements
- Associate Degree with 2+ years of HVAC industry hardware design experience
- OR High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of HVAC industry hardware design experience
- Designing and submitting turnkey project documents for customers
- Experience in HVAC controls, Building Automation, or related industry
- Working knowledge of primary functions of building automation system software and associated engineering tools
- Experience with third-party communication protocols used in building automation, such as BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON, N2, etc.
- Experience with Enterprise IP networks and Microsoft Visio, or similar software
- Ability to understand written sequences of operations, diagrammatic depictions of systems
- Able to translate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs
