Manage assigned Category(s) in order to maximize value, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
Lead execution of procurement tasks; including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and program implementation.
Work with cross-functional teams to qualify and approve suppliers to fulfill business needs.
Respond to critical supplier issues and problems.
Build and execute Request for Proposals (RFPs) in support of the overall Category strategy.
Responsible for the negotiation and execution of desired payment terms and conditions with suppliers.
Lead strategic sourcing activities to support secondary sourcing and new product development.
Analyze contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to help determine need for changes.
Execute Long Term Agreements (LTAs) with suppliers.
