Senior Engineer, Mechanical Engineering

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Senior Engineer, Mechanical Engineering to join their Heat Transfer Group in Carrier’s Mechanical Center of Excellence. The candidate will lead modeling-centered technology and product development, collaborate with other experts, and develop new opportunities to improve the performance, cost, and reliability of Carrier products.

Requirements

• Lead technology development programs and deliver on-time solutions to customers
• Support new product development programs and contribute to the design heat exchangers and other thermo-fluid components
• Develop, validate, and deploy new heat exchanger technologies for Carrier’s current and growing range of products
• Identify and pursue innovation opportunities that improve efficiency, cost, reliability, and competitiveness of Carrier products
• Apply state-of-art design and simulation tools to optimize heat exchanger performance
• Work with cross functional product development teams to ensure successful insertion of new designs into Carrier products
• Support benchmarking, development, validation, and implementation of advanced heat exchanger technologies
• Assist in developing state-of-art design and simulation tools; plan and conduct experiments for calibration and validation of modeling tools
• Provide support to product engineering teams to ensure proper application of new heat transfer technologies throughout the product development cycle
