The Sr. Manager- Commodity Management & Sourcing is responsible for overseeing the execution of key elements of supply chain strategy, developing supplier standards and networks, and establishing strategy for supplier selection and negotiations. The role also involves partnering with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and reviewing and recommending supply markets to source for the best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree with 8+ years of experience Direct Materials Strategic Sourcing
- Masters Degree with 5+ years experience Direct Materials Strategic Sourcing
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time (internationally as needed)
- Strong experience in CSA category management, specifically with components such as drives, heaters, ignitors, dampers, or related electromechanical assemblies
- Demonstrated success in global strategic sourcing, supplier development, and long-term contract negotiations within a manufacturing environment
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to conduct cost modeling, total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, and market benchmarking
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across engineering, operations, quality, and finance
- Experience managing global supplier networks, including capacity planning, risk mitigation, and production footprint optimization
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle) and strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, including supplier performance management and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred)
