Early- to mid-career Mechanical Engineer responsible for improving HVAC test laboratory effectiveness through systems thinking, data integrity, and standard work.
Requirements
- HVAC Technical Certificate with 5+ years of engineering experience in test, lab, systems, or controls environments.
- OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems sufficient to evaluate system behavior and data validity.
- Experience troubleshooting instrumentation, sensors, and DAQ systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and controls wiring diagrams
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Ability to communicate effectively with lab technicians and lab leadership.
- Experience with data acquisition systems, PLCs, controls, or industrial interfaces.
- Experience with dashboards, metrics, or process improvement.
- Willing and able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Willing and able to work at heights up to 20 feet.
