The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of products to support operations across Carroll's multiple Construction Supply store locations, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and strategic sourcing of materials, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and strong vendor relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in construction materials, building supply, or distribution environments
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proven ability to manage purchasing across multiple locations or a large-scale operation
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory management tools
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
