Welder

Carry-On Trailer in Winnemucca, NV has immediate openings for a Welder to perform welding operations on metal components according to specifications, blueprints, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
• Perform grinding, cutting, and other finishing tasks as required.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment, settings, and methods based on requirements.
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
• Align components using fixtures, tape measure, levels, speed square, etc. and clamp pieces
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
• Prepare trailers and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Follow orders, and complete tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
