ELECTRIC POWER GENERATION (EPG) APPRENTICE TECHNICIAN

Carter Machinery Company is hiring Electric Power Generation (EPG) Apprentice Technicians in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The position involves training and development to troubleshoot and diagnose engines and electrical systems on generators and automatic transfer switches.

Requirements

• Self-starter able to work with limited supervision and meet deadlines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude required.
• Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and service software required in position.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to operate heavy equipment.
• Must be able to work all shifts to meet customer needs.
