RENTAL APPRENTICE TECHNICIAN

Carter Machinery Company is hiring Apprentice Technicians for their Heavy Equipment, Rental, and Power Systems operations in Manassas, Virginia. The program provides training and development to troubleshoot and diagnose diesel equipment problems, perform repairs, and service heavy equipment and components, with full-time benefits and no education expenses.

Requirements

• Self-starter able to work with limited supervision and meet deadlines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products, and service software required in position;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Must be able to read and understand operating manuals;
• Must be able to occasionally operate heavy equipment;
• Must be self-directed, organized, able to interact with coworkers, and work as an integral part of a team;
• Must have excellent driving record;
• Must be able to work all shifts and overtime as needed to meet customer needs;
