Carteret Management Corporation is seeking a bilingual RESIDENT SERVICE COORDINATOR to assist senior individuals and persons with disabilities in Tampa, FL. The position offers a competitive salary and a strong benefit package.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Bilingual - English/Spanish.
- Experience with seniors a plus.
- A Bachelor of Social Work or degree in Gerontology, Psychology or Counseling is preferable; individuals without a degree but with appropriate work experience may be hired.
- Two to three years experience in social service delivery with senior citizens and non-elderly disabled in the area served by the project.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of supportive services and other resources for senior citizens and non-elderly disabled in the area served by the project.
- Knowledge of referral processes.
- Demonstrated ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve and provide results for the elderly and disabled served.
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various groups (on-site staff, vendors, residents).
