Technical Product Owner

We’re CarTrawler, the global travel tech company behind seamless connections between people, places and possibilities. We're looking for an experienced Product Owner with a passion for delivering value to drive scalable, reliable and high-performing solutions across complex integrations and internal workflows.

Requirements

• 3 years' experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment, ideally delivering web and/or API-driven products within an e-commerce context.
• Comfortable engaging in discussions around APIs, system behaviour, dependencies and performance to enable effective collaboration with engineering teams.
• Agile / Scrum certification (e.g. CSPO, PSPO) is desirable.
• Third-level qualification in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline OR equivalent practical experience in a product, technology, or delivery role
• Strong understanding of lean/agile principles and the full software delivery lifecycle
• Experience working on backend or service-oriented products, including integrations, data flows or operational systems, is an advantage.
• Proven track record of collaborating effectively with engineers, designers, and senior leadership to drive product outcomes
• Strong backlog management experience: refinement, prioritisation, dependency management, release planning
• Comfortable using data and KPIs to prioritise work and measure impact (e.g., conversion, performance, quality)
• Demonstrated ability to apply both creative and analytical thinking to complex problem-solving
• Experience working across multiple devices and channels to deliver cohesive customer experiences
