The Heavy Truck Mechanic oversees day to day operations in the maintenance shop, provides direct leadership for technicians, and ensures timely installation and upkeep of the company’s property and systems in order to establish operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality.
• Reviews repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work order documents.
• Oversees personnel including coaching, training, evaluating, employee performance, conducts disciplinary action as needed and provides input for improvement.
