Electrician

The Electrician will be responsible for maintaining all electrical systems in accordance to Ontario Hydro standards, Electrical Code, CSA standards and Safety regulations. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical controls, motor controls, heating and cooling controls, and plant lighting, as well as performing bench repairs and equipment set-ups.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED/CAEC, and/or educational credential assessment (ECA) is required
• Licensed Industrial Electrician certification (309A, 442A) is required
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and/or GMP facility is preferred
• Strong mathematical skills and technical/electrical background are required
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals/schematics/blueprints
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of automation systems is an asset
