Job Description
The Supervisor, Facilities & Engineering is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, calibration, and installation of facility and process equipment in a GMP-regulated biologics manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Facilities Mechanics and Engineering Technicians across multiple shifts.
- Oversee operation and maintenance of utility systems including HVAC, clean steam generators, chillers, USP/DI water systems, boilers, air compressors, and refrigeration systems.
- Lead troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical systems, including bioprocess equipment such as fermenters, bioreactors, centrifuges, TFF systems, chromatography skids, incubators, and CTUs.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance and calibration programs for facility and process systems using CMMS.
- Ensure proper functionality and monitoring of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and control systems.
- Generate and maintain SOPs, job aids, and maintenance records for equipment and systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment maintenance, calibration, and repairs.
