Job Description
Catalis is a leading government Software as a Service (SaaS) and integrated payments provider. We are looking for a Data Migration Specialist to join our team. As a Data Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for translating data from legacy and third-party systems into the Catalis cloud platform. You will work closely with the Project Coordinator and Implementation team to ensure data is transferred accurately, completely, and within agreed timelines. You will also develop and maintain scalable data migration tooling, including optimized PostgreSQL stored procedures,.NET/C# migration workflows, and Python-based automation.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in implementation, development, or data-centric roles
- Expert or advanced skills in MS-SQL or PostgreSQL
- Ability to write data conversion scripts and perform complex queries
- Experience with C#, Python, or other programming languages
- Proficient with Git for source control
- Experience working with APIs for data extraction or ingestion
- Experience working with Municipal ERP, Accounting, Tax, Utilities, Payroll software
- Experience with data migrations, ETL processes, SSIS packages, and AWS/Cloud
- Familiarity with Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence, Asana, or similar project and documentation platforms
