Laboratory Technician - Experienced

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to join our team at the Plutonic Gold Mine in Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, managing reagent storage, and ensuring all laboratory processes are carried out in line with established procedures.

Requirements

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including jaw crushers, pulverisers, drying ovens, and sieve shakers
• Operate fire assay systems, including fusion and cupellation furnaces
• Manage reagent storage in accordance with Australian Dangerous Goods standards
• Operate analytical instruments, including AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrometry)
• Experience in a similar role
• Basic Secondary Education (Year 10)
• Cert IV in Lab Techniques (desirable)
• Current LF high risk license
• Current

• Computer literacy with the ability to use Microsoft Office
• Experience in gold processing plant operation
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
