Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to develop, optimize, and maintain our portfolio of WordPress websites, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in web development with a focus on WordPress
- Strong expertise in WordPress architecture, including core functionality, REST API, custom theme & plugin development, and block development
- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization strategies for WordPress websites
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, including technical SEO and Core Web Vitals improvements
- Knowledge of caching strategies, including CDNs and WordPress caching mechanisms
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with infrastructure platforms like Cloudflare, AWS, and other hosting solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
