Shelter Associate Daytime

The Shelter Associate Daytime at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Denver is responsible for maintaining structure and order in the living environment, responding to crisis situations, and communicating with staff and participants. The role involves enforcing shelter rules, completing documentation, and providing information and referrals. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people in crisis, effective communication skills, and a strong team orientation.

Requirements

• Experience working with people in crisis
• Ability to remain calm in stressful and/or emergency situations
• Effective communication skills
• Basic knowledge of word processing and typing ability
• Knowledge of the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics
