Job Description
The OMH Resident Wellness Coordinator provides rehabilitation and recovery services to residents of Residential Programs funded by the New York State Office of Mental Health (NYSOMH). The OMH-Resident Wellness Coordinator ensures that all residents are treated with respect and dignity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or a related health/human services field
- Excellent clinical skills with at least two years’ relevant mental health, substance abuse or human service experience
- Excellent organizational, verbal, & written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, including experience with all Microsoft Office software packages, local area networks, and the Internet
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to conduct presentations before large groups of people
- Bi-Lingual Chinese/Korean/Spanish/English Preferred
