Job Description
Our Daily Bread Employment Center is looking for a part-time Cook to perform daily cooking and meal preparation in a fast-paced environment. The Cook will coordinate the overall daily operation of the kitchen, ensure compliance with health regulations, and maintain proper procedures for food handling and storage.
Requirements
- 1 year of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant environment
- ServSafe Food Handler certification
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience when working with children and clients
- Knowledge of food safety requirements and standards
- Ability to use computer systems and software to perform job functions
