Job Description
The Diocese of Jefferson City is seeking a Catholic Tribunal Office Judge to serve full-time at the Jefferson City chancery office, working cooperatively with Tribunal staff. This role involves advising on canonical matters, preparing drafts of documents, and supervising cases. The position requires a candidate who understands the procedural aspects of Canon Law.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years Tribunal experience
- Licentiate in Canon Law (JCL)
- Catholic in good standing and adherence to Church doctrine
- Strong grasp of procedural Canon Law and knowledge of Rotal jurisprudence
- Competence in reading Latin
- Knowledge of office software and internet/email proficiency
- Ability to manage and supervise employees
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
