St. Thomas the Apostle School in Crystal Lake, IL is seeking a reliable Substitute Teacher to assist in scheduling, covering for teacher absences, and upholding the school's mission and values in a PreK-8th grade environment. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing classroom and deliver aligned instruction. This is an extended family position within a Catholic school focused on faith and values.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A Valid teaching credential or substitute permit is preferred.
• Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred.
• Practicing Catholic or committed to supporting the mission of Catholic education.
• Ability to follow lesson plans, manage a classroom, and adapt to a range of grade levels.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
