Teachers Aide

The elementary classroom aide will assist the teacher and students with daily tasks, activities, and recess supervision. This position also includes helping during the preschool lunch period in the school cafeteria. The aide will promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small-group instruction, as well as student learning.

Requirements

• Must be a practicing Catholic with a knowledge of Catholic prayers, holidays, and teachings.
• Ability to organize and coordinate work with teacher.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Ability to engage in self-evaluation regarding performance and professional growth.
• Professionalism expected in attire, communication, and demeanor.
• Will be required to complete the Safe Environment requirements of the Rockford Diocese Virtus Online program.
• Will be required to complete CPR/First Aid training.
