Job Description
The Admissions Coordinator at Catholic Hospice is responsible for taking phone inquiries regarding services, scheduling referrals, and ensuring proper documentation. This role involves communication with various teams, providing accurate patient information, and coordinating a smooth admission process. They may also support marketing efforts and monitor intake processes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-2 years of clerical / administrative experience.
- 1-2 years of experience with healthcare admissions process preferred.
- Hospice experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of computer office/clinical software.
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language.
