Job Description
CHS is seeking a full-time Music Therapist to provide services for adults and children in the Hospice program. The role involves creating, singing, moving, and listening to music, assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and supervising intern teachers. Responsibilities include providing consultations, measuring client progress, and serving on committees.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in music therapy.
- 2-3 years of work experience as a music therapist.
- Certified with Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient with playing guitar, piano, drums, autoharp, and Orff instruments.
- Outstanding people skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Must have extensive knowledge of computer office/accounting software.
