Job Description
CCL Global is recruiting a Piping Material & Stress Engineer for an FEED & Detail Design project in the UK. The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring compliance with approved SOR and Company standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (material/metallurgical, mechanical engineering or related field)
- 10-15 years in Oil and Gas projects as piping Lead/Sr piping stress engineer, Lead/Sr piping materials engineer
- Previous experience with international Engineering EPC Contractors on projects of similar scale
- Knowledge of international codes and standards related to his/her disciplines
- Advanced user of CAESAR II (for model review, independent checks, and detailed report analysis)
- Familiarity with FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) for reviewing specialist reports
- Proficiency in 3D model review tools (e.g., Navisworks Manage) for clash detection, constructability, and support placement assessment from a stress perspective
