Job Description
The CDC Foundation seeks a Project Manager to support the implementation of the request for application process to jurisdictions to identify staffing needs; strategic thinking around meeting the jurisdictions’ needs in a timely manner through expedited hiring and supervising the Project Managers and managing project activities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in related field
- 5+ years of experience as a public health official
- Specialized knowledge of overdose prevention, surveillance, and response activities
- Professional experience in public health in a project management role or, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility and leadership
- Experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and engaging in strategic partnerships
- Demonstrated ability to work well independently and supervising a team
- Excellent judgment and decision making, with strong analytical skills; business intuition and business acumen
- Experience in program evaluation, including logic model development
- Ability to travel domestically as required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong written and verbal communication skills
